In 1903, James Robertson & Sons Preserve Manufacturers Ltd was incorporated. We still have the original Minute book recording the very beginnings of this great British company.
This 120-year old book reveals the inner workings of one of Britains largest and most recognised food manufacturers.
The first board meeting on 24th February 1903 is attended by James Robertson and 5 of his 7 sons. James, his second son, had died at just 16 years old. Andrew, his third son, had become a doctor.
